Unexpected air con and a ceiling fan, with decent wi-fi. Tea and coffee was available at all times. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. They organized a tuk tuk tour for us and helped plan our journey to the islands. I highly recommend this guest house for a comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic time at the guest house. Dillon, our host, was incredibly kind and generous. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and even helped us organize tuk-tuk rides and a tour of the peninsula. the rooms were exceptional value for money and the breakfast each morning was a delightful experience, filled with flavor and spice. We felt right at home and enjoyed socializing with the other interesting and adventurous guests. Our time in Jaffna was truly enriched by our stay at D'Villa. Cons: Absolutely nothing! 😊.

I spent Thanksgiving in a homestay that was pretty decent. the rooms were clean and spacious enough, and I was lucky not to hear the trains passing by. the hosts were helpful and shared plenty of useful local information. that, it was helpful that the location was near the hospital street, so it was easy to get around on foot.
The internet connection was insufficient, and it required plenty of patience to get it working. the room had some dust and was lacking a few essentials such as extra power plugs.

The owner, Dylan, is helpful with itineraries and rents scooters. Rooms are clean with enough space. Try the traditional Jaffna breakfast. Watch out for mosquitos. Patio is great for chilling and meeting fellow travelers. WiFi works well. Staff is amazing and helpful with advice and arranging tours.
